About the event
In T-Break, two worlds collide: four Bboys (breakdancers) are called by the beat of the Tabla. From different corners, they work and weave and stop and start travelling through Victoria Square and meeting in a central celebration of the vision and energy of the city.
The show is a playful, humorous and dynamic celebration of Birmingham’s rich cultural diversity. It features a collaboration between Marso Riviere, three Birmingham Bboys from renowned breakin collective Mad Dope Kru (MDK) and Birmingham based Tabla player, Mendi Singh.
Expect a beautiful culture clash.

Marso Riviere is an award winning Midlands based choreographer, who has been making work for over 10 years rooted in contemporary and street-dance styles. Works includes Matches with Guy Nader, The Place Prize nominated Breakin Point, solo show Eteins Pas and Appel.
