KRE8!Lab Goa
Hip Hop Movement identity, Flow and Expression
In today's abundant movement trends, KRE8Lab focuses on our internal voice,
individual movement flow, and creative spirit!
We like to delve into research, talks about the origins of
Hip Hop, acro/soft acro, theatre, movement styles, culture, and techniques to innovate and grow.
The drive is to empower and invite our dance and movement communities to a safe space where conversations are encouraged to open up about culture, to question where certain techniques may come from or be widely used beyond the scope of social media trends.
We thrive to just be and feel connected, to test ideas, to feel the music or the sound of nature, to fail, to experiment, and to reconquer.
This intensive offers the opportunity to work with world-class dance and movement practitioners, rooted in Hip Hop, Capoeira, Experimental concepts, Theatre, and Performance.
Explore how to flow between Breaking, Hip Hop, House, and other movement techniques within a beautiful private site surrounded by the jungle, small villages, and close to the ocean.
Located in Arambol, Goa, featuring onsite and newly built hut accommodations, a café restaurant, a swimming pool, and various spaces to relax or reflect.
The programme includes five days of intensive training starting from 8 am, including outdoor jams on the beach and evening activities, time to reflect and research/practice, discussions, location visits, and to test your skills at an All Style Battle Event with a winning prize of 12,000 Rupees !
Who is it for?
People from all over the world!
Adults, dancers seeking vocational training, movers and shakers at any stage of their career,
open level, and to any style/genre.
To remain safe and to keep the experience enjoyable, we recommend a minimum level of fitness and movement experience as this is an intensive, long hours of training, and physical challenges might push your boundaries. Not recommended for a complete beginner, don't hesitate to ask questions !

Our Story
Founded and curated by award winning choreographer and creative director Mickael Marso Riviere
History:
Originally set as a 2vs2 dance battle contest, live laboratory and open to any style.
Live music and structured tasked given to the participants was what made the event truly special, including a DJ warming up the audience and filling in intervals.
From small origins, "KRE8!Lab" has grown to an international scale, as an event and educational platform, guest artists from the UK and abroad are invited to compete, teach and judge.
Since the Covid19 pandemic we have created various online video contests, unique programs, Breaking battles, streaming short dance films and interviews with leaders in the Experimental Dance scene like Drosha (Open Your Mind).
KRE8!Lab is available for touring under various formats and adaptable to many settings.
